Yakshini
MYTHICAL BEINGS OF HINDU, BUDDHIST, AND JAIN MYTHOLOGY; FEMALE COUNTERPART OF THE YAKSHA
Yaksini; Yaksi; Yakshi; Yakkhini; Yakṣī
Yakshinis or yakshis (यक्षिणी or yakṣī; or yakkhī) are a class of female nature spirits in Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain religious mythologies that are different from devas (gods), asuras (demons), and gandharvas or apsaras (celestial nymphs). Yakshinis and their male counterparts, the yakshas, are one of the many paranormal beings associated with the centuries-old sacred groves of India.
